Radio

ZoneBuddy plays Radio Bollerwagen in your voice channel – on request with /radio start or around the clock in a permanent radio channel.

How it works

  1. Join a voice channel and type /radio start.
  2. ZoneBuddy joins and plays the station – currently Radio Bollerwagen (party, Schlager and Mallorca hits, a live stream by radio ffn).
  3. /radio stop ends it. Once nobody is left in the channel, ZoneBuddy leaves on its own after a minute.
  4. /radio info shows what's playing and where.

The radio is a live station: there's no queue, no skipping and no custom songs.

Permanent radio channel (24/7)

Under Dashboard → Radio (or in /setup) you can optionally set a voice channel where ZoneBuddy stays permanently. As soon as someone joins, the radio plays; when the channel is empty, the bot stays but plays nothing. If the connection drops, it comes back within five minutes.

Who can control it?

  • Without DJ roles (default): anyone in a voice channel can start the radio. Anyone in the radio channel can stop it.
  • With DJ roles: only those roles – and the team – can start and stop it.
  • If the radio is already playing in another channel, only the team can move it. Only the team can turn off the permanent radio channel.

Tip: ZoneBuddy needs the Connect and Speak permissions in the voice channel. You can turn the radio off under Dashboard → Radio.
