AI chat & AI images
ZoneBuddy replies in enabled channels – friendly or as a roast – and paints images on request.
How it works
You enable individual channels. There, ZoneBuddy replies to messages – helpful in Normal mode, cheeky in Roast mode. You can store a custom instruction per channel. In an AI image channel, a message turns into an image that can be edited further via a button.
On servers set to English, the AI replies in English.
Every AI action costs AI points from your server’s monthly budget – details under Plans & AI points.
Setup
- Dashboard → AI chat. Turn on “AI chat active”.
- + Channel: choose the channel and mode, optionally a custom instruction.
- Set the cooldown and daily limits (per member and per server).
Privacy: messages in these channels are sent to the AI provider to generate a reply. ZoneBuddy doesn’t store or log any content.

Commands
- /roastfile mode – FULL, LITE or not at all – how personal may the roast bot get?
- /roastfile show [user] – View a file – your own or (moderators) someone else's
- /roastfile edit <user> – Moderators: create or edit a person's file in a form
- /roastfile delete <user> – Moderators: delete a person's file and learned notes
- /roastfile list – Moderators: who has a file, who uses which mode?
- /roastfile serverknowledge – Moderators: edit server knowledge (hierarchy, insiders) in a form
- /roastfile style <style> – Moderators: roast style hard (vulgar) or mild
- /roastfile offlimits [channel] – Moderators: channel/category the bot never learns from (on/off) – no channel: list
- /roastfile learnnow – Moderators: analyze collected messages now (otherwise daily at 4 am)
- /roastfile catchup [days] – Moderators: catch up on and analyze recent days' messages
Common problems
The AI no longer replies. The monthly budget is used up – the AI pauses until the next month, or you buy extra points. In the roast channel, fallback lines are used instead.
